  • Are you a Software Development Manager looking to join a company in major growth mode? Our client is seeking a Software Development Manager for a full time permanent position.  You will be leading teams, and removing obstacles for your teams to thrive.

    Here is what you'll be doing on a day to day basis:

  • Mentor, coach, supervise, and be accountable for the technical activities of the team
  • Engage in candid, two-way, conversations with your team on the subjects of individual, team, and organizational performance
  • Set individual goals and objectives for members of the team and conduct quarterly performance assessments
  • Conduct interviews and coordinate team hiring and technical onboarding for new hires
  • Accountable for team delivering on cycle commitments and follow proper processes
  • Support PMs on pitch-shaping for future cycles
  • Work closely with the quality assurance, product management, and devops teams to ensure that projects are delivered with quality
  • Identify development process bottlenecks and be an advocate and lead for improvement
  • Embrace and champion the company values
  • Ensuring the quality of each production update, including identifying overall platform performance issues, working with the team to improve and optimize implementation and finding ways to improve and optimize overall platform performance
  • Overseeing the team’s design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of back-end systems for multiple high-traffic services

  • Ensuring security and performance of our products
  • Here is the type of person we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience as a technical manager for a team of 5 or more people
  • 5+ years of development background
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience
  • Experience in setting objectives, managing people and projects
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle a fast-paced work environment, new challenges, and changing priorities

  • Experience working in a SaaS environment (either as independent contributor or manager) would be an asset
